Baltimore Basements, Bathrooms and Additions
Many Baltimore houses are old, tall and narrow, and the basement is often where the trouble starts: steep open stairs, a bulkhead or exterior stairwell letting water in, a window opening that would work better as a door. Those are the jobs that make up most of our Baltimore portfolio.
Below you can see open basement stairs closed in and finished, an exterior stairwell dug and poured from scratch, a second basement entrance converted from a window to a door, a floor laid around a fireplace, a new shower and a full room addition. All are homes with Baltimore addresses.

Permits in Baltimore City
Baltimore City’s Department of Housing and Community Development handles permits online through its E-Permits system. Its building permits page says a permit is needed to construct, alter, repair or demolish a structure and to change or replace electrical, gas, mechanical or plumbing systems, and that construction work on one- and two-family homes requires a contractor holding a Maryland Home Improvement license. We hold MHIC #77900.
“They gave a detailed proposal and had comparable prices. They arrived and on time and were very professional. I have recommended them to all our friends and neighbors. They are the only ones I will call.”Tom G., from our reviews
